Our Journey

From Humble Beginnings to National Representation

Founded in Quebec in 1989, CAPS began as a grassroots movement to unite sommeliers across Canada. Over the years, we’ve grown into a vital organization, committed to enhancing the sommelier profession and broadening wine appreciation nationwide.

With regional chapters spanning the country, CAPS has become the cornerstone for professional development, education, and networking within the changing landscape of the wine industry.
